Promise Note

A letter from the founder of StudioNXT to every artist who trusts us with their work.

Version 1.0, 4 May 2026

A promise, written for you.

You are not giving us your archive. You are asking us to hold it. That is a different thing entirely.

A keeper has responsibilities that a platform does not. We take those responsibilities seriously enough to write them down, name them, and build them into the legal foundation of this company. Not just a page on a website. Not terms of service written for lawyers. A promise, written for you.

Here is exactly what we commit to. And exactly what happens if we ever cannot keep it.

Ninety days. Always.

If StudioNXT ever closes, every artist receives ninety days notice before anything stops.

Not a letter the day before. Not a policy update buried in an email. Ninety days, in writing, directly from us, with clear guidance on what comes next and what you will receive.

During those ninety days your archive remains fully open. You can use it, add to it, and take from it at any time.

Your work, returned to your hands.

When those ninety days are complete, every artist receives everything they ever entrusted to us.

Not buried in a format that only we can read. Not compressed into something that requires a key to open.

A collection organised by year containing every artwork in full resolution, every written record as a document readable on any screen, every voice note as a recording playable on any device, every valuation history as a plain table, and every agreement and certificate you created or kept here.

Everything. Named clearly. Readable by anyone. On any device. For the rest of time.

Legacy Duration members receive this collection assembled with additional care, ordered, annotated, and accompanied by a signed letter from the founder recognising their archive and their place in the early life of StudioNXT.

Your archive, in your own studio.

We are working toward something more considered than a remote vault. A version of StudioNXT that lives entirely within an artist's own space on their own terms, independent of anything we operate. If our doors close, the artist's archive continues exactly as it was. Nothing is lost because nothing depended on us to begin with.

This is not ready yet. We are writing it here because it is the direction we have chosen. And because you deserve to know where we are going before you decide to trust us with where you have been.

The Promise Fund.

Every Legacy Duration payment made on StudioNXT contributes a protected portion to a ringfenced fund held entirely apart from what we use to run the business day to day.

It does not pay salaries. It does not pay for servers. It does not pay for anything operational. It exists for one purpose only: to honour returns and final printed catalogues if the company closes before an artist's chosen term is complete.

If StudioNXT closes before your term ends, you receive a proportional return from the Promise Fund for the years remaining. Not everything, because the years already delivered were real and full. Not nothing, because a promise is a promise. Proportional, calculated with transparency, paid within thirty days of the closure notice.

This commitment is written into the legal foundation of artNXT as a company. It is not a gesture from a founder who may one day move on. Any future steward of this company inherits every word of it.

For Legacy Duration members.

You chose a term. Five years, ten years, fifteen years. You will receive your printed archive catalogue every year for the full length of that term, delivered to your door.

If the company closes within your term, you receive a final printed catalogue at the point of closure, a proportional return for the years remaining from the Promise Fund, a complete collection of your archive returned to your hands, and a signed legacy certificate from the founder naming your works, your archive, and your place in the story of this platform.

The payment you made was never a subscription. It was an endowment. We hold it that way.

If we are ever passed to new hands.

This promise travels with the company. It is not a personal gesture from a founder. It is a legal obligation carried by artNXT itself. Any new steward inherits every word of it.

If they will not carry it, the transfer does not happen.

We will never show you advertisements.

StudioNXT is funded by subscriptions, not by advertising. Your archive will never be used to target you. We will never allow third-party advertisers into this platform. We will never sell your data. We will never use your archive to train AI models without your explicit, informed, opt-in consent.

Mira works for you. Not for us.

Mira, your studio assistant, draws only from what you have placed in your archive. It does not generate content from the internet. It does not speculate. It does not publish anything without your review. You are always in control of what Mira produces and always in control of what leaves this platform under your name.
