Archive

Every work, every detail, every story. In one place that lasts.

The complete record of a working practice.

Most artists have a catalogue scattered across hard drives, spreadsheets, photographs, and memory. StudioNXT brings all of it into one structured system that holds every work, every detail, and every story in a form that lasts.

The archive is not a portfolio. It is a record. The difference is that a portfolio shows what you want to present. A record holds everything, whether it is currently for sale, sold, donated, loaned, or no longer in existence. The archive is the full account.

Artworks.

Each artwork has its own record. Every field is structured so the information is consistent, searchable, and unambiguous across the entire archive.

Identity

Title, year, medium, materials, technique, and a full description. The information that identifies the work precisely and permanently.

Dimensions and format

Height, width, depth, weight, and unit of measurement. Stored in a structured form, not a freetext field, so the data is consistent across every work.

Classification

Whether the work is unique, a limited edition, or an open edition. Edition size, artist proof count, and edition number where applicable.

Status and location

Available, sold, reserved, donated, on loan, or no longer existing. Combined with a location record showing where the work is, who holds it, and since when.

Price and valuation

Current price, currency, and a valuation history over time. A living picture of what the work is worth, not a single static number.

Provenance

Exhibition history, sale records, and any notes on the work's journey. The documentation that gives the work its full account.

Image

Primary and supporting images stored in full resolution in the European Union. The visual record of the work, not a compressed copy.

Voice sessions.

Record a spoken reflection in the studio. Mira processes the audio into a structured document: a transcript, a summary, a key statement pulled from your own words. Filed in your archive, linked to the work it refers to.

The thinking behind the work, preserved in your own voice.

Videos.

Process recordings, studio footage, exhibition documentation, and interviews. Stored in the archive alongside the works they document, not on a separate platform that may not exist in ten years.

Documents.

Invoices, certificates of authenticity, and loan agreements, generated directly from the artwork record and tracked through their full lifecycle from draft to accepted.

Every document is linked to the work it refers to and the contact it was issued to. The paper trail lives in the same place as the work.

Works in progress.

The archive is not only for finished work. Works in progress can be documented while they are being made: current status, timeline, and the notes that belong to a work still finding its form.

Yours, for as long as you need it.

The archive you build in StudioNXT belongs to you. You can export everything at any time, in standard formats readable by any device. If StudioNXT ever closes, every artist receives ninety days notice and a complete collection of their archive returned to their hands before anything stops.

The record you build here is not contingent on us remaining open. It is designed to outlast any platform.
